We are surrounded by the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.  During the summer you can enjoy the family attractions and entertainment in every direction or go hiking, biking, rafting or trout fishing.  In the fall there is the beautiful changing color of the leaves and in winter bundle up and enjoy a winter wonderland with skiing and snowboarding.  There is something to do for every member of the family in every season.

When you arrive at AMDR you will see a large two level luxury log home. You can enter on the upper level along the rear of the home and park under the drive-through carport designed to accommodate two vehicles with a beautiful rock wall that runs along the upper drive. There is also a covered walkway to the rear porch to stay dry should there be rain or snow.

The first thing you will notice from the carport is a screened porch that runs the entire length of the home. Inside the porch you will see two seating areas, a large dining table to enjoy an outdoor meal and a heated spa that seats five with plenty of privacy. Outside the screened porch is an LP gas Bar B Q grill. There are three doors to enter AMDR on this level. The main door has a keypad for the convenience of guests with a monitored alarm system for your peace of mind. There are also doors to the rear porch from both master baths on the main level.

Once you enter AMDR you will see an ample kitchen with plenty of room and amenities to satisfy any cook with service for 12. You will also look across the large great room, past the fireplace with large screen TV above and out the wall of windows giving you a breath taking view of the mountains and ridges to the south. If you step out on the upper deck you will have a spectacular view to enjoy day or night; mountains to the south and east, a treed hill on the west that would prove a challenging hike and a handful of beautiful mountain homes spaced to give plenty of privacy. If you are lucky you will see turkeys, deer and on rare occasions black bear.

The upper level has two master suites with king beds, fireplaces, private balconies connected to the front upper porch and private baths with access to the rear porch and 5 person spa. All beds are of the finest quality and comfortable for sleep or watching the flat-panel TV's above the bedroom fireplaces.

Should you decide to enter AMDR on the lower level you can drive around to the lower parking area that will take you directly to the lower covered porch that runs the length of the front of AMDR with seating and great views of the mountains. The driveway circles AMDR so you can drive in from either direction.

The lower level has a large family / game room with electronic dartboard, pool table, table games, video library, large stone fireplace and theatre size flat panel TV. There are two master suites on the lower level with king beds, flat panel TV's and private baths. Both suites have doors out to private areas on the lower porch with great views and easy access to the surrounding area. Also, for your convenience there is a small kitchen/wet bar area.

You have great views in every direction, Cedar Falls amenities including gift shop, swimming pool, catch and release pond, nature trail and plenty of wildlife.
